How we've got to own Minor29DC

In 2007, we found a Minor 29 DC for sale on the web site of Okazaki Yacht, a dealer of Minor boat in Japan. She was docked at the Otaru Marina in Hokkaido. Hokkaido is the big northern island in Japan.
My wife, Mami , said, "This is a cute boat!". The Minor 29DC was very cute, but I thought all her technical data showed she was a very tough boat on the rough sea.
She was a semi-displacement type boat. She had a single shaft drive, Yanmer diesel engine, deep V-hull, long keel, double rudders, no flying bridge and more.
She was built in 2005 and her hour meter indicated only 160 hours. It was enough to consider her a new boat. The price was 14,000,000Yen(175,000USD). In Japan a power boat is very expensive, so we thought that price was very attractive.
A few days later, we went to the Otaru Marina to see the Minor 29 DC. She was very cute indeed. Her shape was like an old fashioned tug boat. Even though I didn't drive her, we decided to buy her immediately.

We named her "Lukia" and hoped for many wondrous cruises.
