In General, boats with double rudders lose much of the rudder deflection effect. However the clearance of two rudders of Minor 29 is comparative narrow that makes her steering response quick and result in natural drive feeling like stern drive engine boat.

The rudders are linked with the boxy bars which contribute to strengthen rudders and to protect the propeller. I think a long keel and two rudders of Minor 29 help to keep her stable posture against side waves, although they spoil her speed. 

The maintenance of Minor 29 is very easy. We have no problem refer to driving unit while keeping her to the pontoon for a long time.
